Who can play

You must be 18 or older. Paid pools with prizes are regulated or banned in many places, and it is your job to know the law where you are. This service is not offered anywhere it would be illegal. If you enter from such a place, you are breaking these terms and you do it at your own risk.

We do not verify your age or location. The checkbox you tick before entering is your own declaration, and we rely on it.

What you are buying

An entry is a ticket in a pool for one card. It is not a deposit, not a loan, not a security, not an investment, and it has no value except a prize or a refund under the rules. The rules page is part of these terms. Where this page and the rules disagree with the smart contract, the contract wins, because the contract is what actually holds and pays the money.

Prices, fees and the pot

Prices are shown before you pay and the contract refuses to charge more than the price you saw. Out of every entry, the split shown on the board goes to the pot, the jackpot and the house. The house share is our fee. Discounts for $PICKEM holders come out of the house share, never the pot.

Entries are paid in USDG on Robinhood Chain. You pay the network’s transaction fee in ETH; we don’t set it and don’t receive it.

Results

Winners are decided by the final score as reported by ESPN and confirmed by a second feed. Ties, postponed games and games called off count as correct for everyone. Results are posted on chain and sit for a 12-hour window during which anyone can check them and we can correct a genuine mistake, at most three times. After that they are final and cannot be changed by anyone, including us.

If you think a posted result is wrong, tell us during the window. After the window it is too late, for us as much as for you.

Payouts and refunds

Prizes and refunds are paid by the contract to the wallet that owns the entry, when that wallet claims them. We cannot send them anywhere else, and we cannot claim them for you. There is no deadline to claim. If you lose access to your wallet, you lose access to your prize; we have no way to recover it.

A card with four or fewer games played is cancelled and every entry is refunded in full. We may also cancel a card for a slate error before any entry has been scored. Refunds are the only outcome of a cancelled card; nobody keeps a fee.

What we can and cannot do

The contract is not upgradeable. We can create cards, post and correct results within the rules, pause new entries, add money to a pot or the jackpot, and change the treasury, the results key, the discount tiers, the split and the base price, each only through a 48-hour public delay that applies to future cards. We cannot touch money in a live card, block a claim or a refund, or reverse a final result.

The risks you accept

This runs on public blockchain software. Smart contracts can have bugs, networks can halt or reorganise, wallets can be compromised, stablecoins can lose their peg, and data feeds can be wrong or late. We have tested this contract carefully, but we give no guarantee that it is free of defects, and we are not liable for losses caused by the chain, the token, your wallet, third-party feeds, or your own mistakes such as a wrong address or a lost key.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with this service is limited to the amount you paid for the entry in question.

Taxes and the law

Prizes may be taxable where you live. Reporting and paying that is on you. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice.

Who we are not

pick-em.fun is an independent application deployed on Robinhood Chain. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Robinhood Markets, Robinhood Chain, the NFL or any NFL team. Team names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to say which game is which.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version on this page with its effective date is the one that applies. A change never affects a card that is already open or settled. Questions and result disputes go to the contact shown in the site footer.
